I am Aysima Nesrin Şahin. I am a psychologist and UX designer.

I am a psychology graduate of Kadir Has University. As a dedicated researcher with experience in psychology labs and behavioral research, I'm passionate about the intersection of human behavior and technology, especially in the area of human-robot interaction. My academic background in psychology, combined with a focus on UX, is helping me develop a nuanced understanding of user needs and experience design. I graduated from my minor in user experience, where I'm also deepening my skills in design, application, website, and service development. My goal is to deepen my expertise in UX/UI, drawing on psychology and human-robot interaction to create intuitive and impactful digital experiences.

Enüstkat Interactive (euk.) | Account & Project Management Intern ****(Mar 2026 ~ May 2026)

• Conducted UAT and QA testing across multiple client websites, identifying and documenting issues prior to launch.
• Performed CMS-based content entry and management, ensuring consistency and accuracy across pages.
• Ran page speed, mobile responsiveness, UX, and SEO audits to optimize site performance and search engine visibility.

Things | UX Designer & Researcher Intern (Jul 2025 ~ Mar 2026)

• Designed and shipped wireframes for the Fiat redesign by leading an independent end-to-end research project; defined research strategy, task scenarios, and KPIs, then translated findings from 5 usability sessions into prioritized design recommendations.
• Identified 55+ usability and accessibility issues across 10 heuristics through a comprehensive UX audit, delivering a structured report that informed design priorities for the website redesign.
• Mapped user flows and benchmarked competitor platforms to surface UX gaps; co-facilitated usability testing with 14 participants and contributed wireframes to the new website design
• Owned design QA across 3+ Koç Hospital websites, catching UI inconsistencies and usability issues before launch to ensure design system integrity.

• Conducting interdisciplinary research in a moral psychology laboratory combining social psychology, cognitive science, and behavioral economics. Contributing to experimental and cross-cultural studies on morality, belief systems, and decision-making.
• Leading a research project on motivated reasoning, focusing on how cognitive biases influence judgment, bayesian updating, and decision-making. Managing the full research cycle from literature review and measurement instrument development to data analysis and reporting.
• Earned TUBITAK 1001 scholarship. Contributed to multiple experimental studies using behavioral measurement methods.
